Fun Summer Health Tips

We’ve all been guilty of it. You know, being wrapped up in the ropes of life that we tend to forget about our health. However, health, though usually pushed aside, is the battery that gives our engines its power. Without it everything comes to a haute. Before summer comes to a sad end here are some things this summer you can do to improve your health.

“Take it out side”

As the weather warms, why stay cooped up inside? Enjoy the sunshine. Take a Take a walk on the beach or ride your bike downtown. Spend more time outdoors breathing in the fresh air.

“Sleep Beauties”

I know we hear this one a lot, but whether or not you get enough sleep plays, a huge part in your health. Make sure you are at least getting 8 hours of sleep each night. Adequate sleep will also help reduce facial lines and puffiness around the eyes leaving you with a fresh “well rested” look.

“Once a week Veggie meal”

Once a week try supplementing you regular meat diet with a vegetarian alternative. You can boost your health by eating less red meat. Or at least try fish once a week instead of beef, chicken or pork.

“Fruits and Veggies”

Fruits and Veggies are vital to our health. The minerals and vitamins provided by them help our bodies fight disease.

”Water loves you”

Thats right, water loves you so you have to love it back. Drinking more water also helps clear your skin and bring out its natural radiance

”Don’t let your eyes talk for your stomach”

This is a big mistake that even I am guilty of. As humans we are visual people so its understandable that when some thing look appealing to our eyes our first instinct is devour it regardless of what our stomach stomach

“Supplements”

Feel like you don’t have time to focus on everything your body could possibly need? Try supplements. You can take supplements in the pill form, or liquid. My favorite is Green Goddess, which is basically a supplement of all things green (fruits and veggies) it looks disgusted but its delectable. Fish Oil can improve skin and make your hair shiny and healthy!

“Say No More often”

Its okay to just say no to things when situations become overwhelming. If you don’t then this creates stress. And stress can be horrible. So instead of creating stress, no your limits.

“Take some you time”

Take time to do something that relaxes you and that you find joy in doing. Whether it may be journaling, reading, praying etc. Doing what you love can sometimes give you a balance in the overwhelming ends and outs of every day life.

“Don’t strive to Diet, Strive To Change Your Living.”

Sometimes what tends to happen with dieting is that when a goal is achieved then its a wrap. Everything goes back to normal. So never strive for a diet, strive for a change lifestyle. This will ensure health because eating healthy will now be apart of your lifestyle. Eating healthy will be something you enjoy rather than dread.

Have fun on your new healthy journey. The Challenge begins now. Ready, set, go! Peace and Love
