How to wear Fake Lashes
No matter large or small, bright or glittery, eyelashes always gives an extra boost to your look. And sad to say even the models in the mascara commercial’s wear fake eyelashes. The truth is fake eyelashes add a certain dramatic effect that mascara alone cannot do. And the application process is fairly easy with the right technique.
1. Curl your natural eyelashes and if desired swipe them with mascara
2. Take the false lash strip and bend it. This makes the lash conform better to the shape of your eye, so it doesn’t pop off of your lids.
3. Take a Q-Tip or a bobby pin and apply the glue to it. Then swipe the lash glue across the band of the false eyelash. Wait until the glue is tacky and nearly dry (about 20-30 seconds) and then apply the lash to your lid line. This way the glue is stronger. If wet it will slide off.
4. Then apply them to your eye, anchoring the center portion of the lash first, and then the outer portions. This will ensure great alignment
5. Let the glue dry for about 15 seconds before touching it again. It is up to you if you want to curl the eyelash afterwards, and apply mascara to blend. However, sometimes using mascara on false eyelashes could gunk up the lashes meaning you couldn’t wear them again.
6. Repeat this process with the next eye and enjoy your look!
