Keep color this fall!
Fall, a time for…color?
The summer may be coming to an end but the summer brights are just getting started. And its almost going a little further than summer brights. Get ready to start seeing blazers in hues such as bold red, high yellow, deep blue, white (yes white), which works perfectly for me since white is my absolute favorite color. Trousers will also be in bold bright shades. Now some may wonder why trousers? Well glad you asked. This fall there is a trend called color blocking and its kind of like the color blocking we did in summer. Color Blocking works best when the colors complement each other. Like mint green trousers with a royal purple blouse. And if you have reservations about mixing so much color, try mixing the basics like a black trousers or a skirt with a gray blouse with a bold scarf lets say yellow. And since fall consist of more clothing and thicker material the statement your going to make is going to be huge. Fall fashion 2011 is also rebelling against the norm by calling white/cream to the fore front. Fashion experts are saying that the white boyfriend blazer is a must have in your fall and even winter wardrobe. Cream/white suits have been owning the runway for fall 2011 and I am loving every bit of it. Being in Chicago I’m actually excited to see fall 2011 fashion strutting down the streets of Michigan ave. One thing is for sure, even if the sun isn’t out to shine, it will shine through our clothing lol. So this fall take this motto to heart, “If you can’t match it clash it.”
